She killed, dismembered and removed the bones from three women. She used their fat to make bars of soap. She dried their blood in the oven, crumbled it into dough and made delicious biscuits to serve her friends with tea.
She is Leonarda Cianciulli, the first known Italian serial killer, also called the “Soap-Maker of Correggio”, who, driven by superstition and a morbid, disturbing maternal love, chose to sacrifice the lives of three women:
she believed this would appease the evil spirits that, according to a fortune teller’s prophecy, were destined to kill her children.
Spiritica, the luxury paranormal perfume house, tells the story of this deeply complex historical figure through scent with LEONARDA: the first fragrance in the CRIME COLLECTION.
The concept was conceived by Daniele Muratori Caputo, the brand’s founder, in collaboration with an influencer and expert in both perfume and criminal psychology: Ariosto.
The perfumer who masterfully brought the ideas of the olfactory pyramid to life is Paolo Cerizza.
An unusually clear opening of Marseille soap immediately suggests something clinically clean and strange, joined by the sparkle of a peppery accord recalling caustic soda; yet the rich, dirty, intricate and powdery undertone
has a sweet gourmand quality that hints at something hidden: unsettling and comforting at once.

At its heart, the welcoming, indulgent notes of fresh Chantilly cream meet the familiar scent of homemade biscuits. But these biscuits hold a surprise: inside, raspberry syrup mingles with the opening notes of congealed blood, creating a striking accord that is both sweet and metallic.
The final twist lies in the base notes, where opulent, impactful oud blends with accords of dark chocolate and alchemical notes evoking sulphur, opening the door to a dark, unexplored world.
